An Ode to THE Shoes.

There have been certain shoes this season which I have been reaching for over and over again. I have definitely been branching out from my usual plain shoes 'that go with anything' and have surprised myself by opting for the more funky of shoes.
I have to say these three shoes are from ASOS- who doesn't love ASOS? They really have been upping their game recently!

The first pair are some ASOS Embellished Mischa Brogues, link below.

Pretty much an everyday sort of shoes. They still have that subtlety which means they are versatile but they also have the funk which you want!

The next are a pair of embroidered ASOS ballet Flats, which I have been wearing to work non stop these past few weeks- hence the scruffiness of them.
I pair them which anything- even my more bold of patterned dresses and on a particular day paired them with my embroidered jeans - for that extra kick of embroidery!

The final pair are from New Look and an embroidered heel boot for the more dressier of outfits!

So these are my top shoes that have been my saviour on the terrible outfit days! What are yours?

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner

Yes gaze upon the product in all its glory. I thought i would make full use of the lovely British weather which we have been granted with lately, hence the stony background. I bought this for £19 aboard the British Airways plane on the return from my holiday in the sun, if I am honest I think I got quite a deal. A full size pot usually retails for £17 and I got 2 slightly smaller pots for £19! I mean how fast do you go through eye-liners?
For me the packaging is absolutely chick and stylish, classic Bobbi Brown. I had heard many bloggers go crazy over these eye-liners and their amazing qualities.
I forgot to mention you also get a miniture of their 'ultra fine eye-liner brush' which is very handy.
The colours are 'Black Ink' and 'Sepia Ink'. Black Ink is your average everyday black and Sepia Ink is a dark brown, although it gives your eyes a softer appearance. They apply very smoothly onto my eyelid with minimal hassle, always good. And they last all day. There is no chance that this product will come off your lid in the day, even if there was some random rainstorm. I am telling you now, its a lifesaver eyeliner.
There is nothing bad to say bout this product and i can tell you i will be using it for a very long time.

Have you tried this fabulous product? What did you think?

Rimmel Special eyes eyeliner - Black Magic

I think i will be forever in-love with my Soap&Glory SuperCat liquid eye-liner, but i cannot really use it on my water line or create that smudgy look which all of us long to perfect. So i opted for this Rimmel Special eyes eye-liner for £2.99 in Boots. So this wont make a big hole in your wallet.

The packaging is not fantastic but seems pretty durable, does it's job.
I used this on my lid for testing purposes, i have so say it applied well and felt great to begin with. However by the end of the night it had smudged where my top lid meets the upper part of my eye (when i open my eyes), i hadn't even noticed until the end of the night!
I also used it on my water line, and that stayed on brilliantly! It was still there in place by the end of the night, and i have quite watery eyes therefore most eye-liners smudge off.
From the swatch below you can see it is a deep black with a lot of pigmentation!
Overall i really like this product for my waterline only definitely not my lid.
Have you tried this product?
