An Ode to THE Shoes.

There have been certain shoes this season which I have been reaching for over and over again. I have definitely been branching out from my usual plain shoes 'that go with anything' and have surprised myself by opting for the more funky of shoes.
I have to say these three shoes are from ASOS- who doesn't love ASOS? They really have been upping their game recently!

The first pair are some ASOS Embellished Mischa Brogues, link below.

Pretty much an everyday sort of shoes. They still have that subtlety which means they are versatile but they also have the funk which you want!

The next are a pair of embroidered ASOS ballet Flats, which I have been wearing to work non stop these past few weeks- hence the scruffiness of them.
I pair them which anything- even my more bold of patterned dresses and on a particular day paired them with my embroidered jeans - for that extra kick of embroidery!

The final pair are from New Look and an embroidered heel boot for the more dressier of outfits!

So these are my top shoes that have been my saviour on the terrible outfit days! What are yours?

Revlon ColorBurst Balm- Flirtatious

Well i decided to try a different background for this post today, hm not too sure about it but it will do for now!
As you may (or may not) know the Revlon Matte balms have been raved about on the internet, however I bought a normal colorburst ones accidentally due to the confusion of Boots website.
It is a bright glossy balm and costing £7.99 from Boots, fair price for what it is.
It applies nice and smoothly, very similar to a tinted Lip Balm, though this has way more pigment. Even after an hour you can rub your lips together without removing all the skin off your lips (you know the feeling). It is very moisturising and non sticky - Finally something non sticky!
I wear this quite a lot as it is still very bold for my complexion but i love it and looking to buy some more, including the matte balms as they seem utterly intriguing.

MUA Lipstick Shade 8. #11Daystogo!

11 days to go, gosh the excitement is building. Anyway today i have a lovely little Christmas Lipstick for you today.
MUA Lipstick shade 8, it is a sparkly berry red.
For £1, this is an absolute bargain especially if your never going to wear a lipstick like this again other than Christmas.
It is quite a deep berry red as i have mentioned so i would say this went with the lighter skin tones.
As for texture, when you apply on your lips it does feel a bit gritty; the sparkly bits explain that. So what has worked best for me is to put a clear lip-balm on before this Lipstick. Therefore you get a less gritty feeling and a more shiny appearance.
This is a lipstick you will need to re-apply but for £1 this is obviously expected.

It is a rather beautiful colour, so i recommend getting it quickly before they all run out. Which has happened in my local store numerous of times.
What is your Christmas Lipstick?

MUA Lipstick shade 13

November is here everyone! Now is the time i really start celebrating Christmas- Christmas songs, buying presents, decorations and all that. So i though i would start this month with a colour relevant to Christmas- Red.

This is an MUA lipstick, it is Shade 13 and it is £1.
The packaging is quite sleek, however the lipstick is sometimes hard to get out!
This is such a bold colour, actually the boldest i own. The pigment is amazing in this, especially for £1.
However it does smudge quite considerable, so i wouldn't eat too much while wearing this. As once it has smudged it is an absolute bugger (pardon the french) to get off!.
This is a swatch of the lipstick!

Overall this is an OK product, i probably would not repurchase this colour.
