What I ate today - Spain

I love these posts as they give me huge inspiration for my meals in a day. I thought I would do a 'what I ate today' holiday edition. In Spain finding any vegan/vegetarian options is very hard - especially as they have isles upon isles or meat 😔. However once you have scoured the supermarket, you find a good few basic items. It really makes me realise how lucky we are in England to have such a wide variety of health foods.

For breakfast- I had a huge plate of fruit, full of water melon, peaches, grapes and a huge banana. Following that I had some basic cereal with soy milk and a blueberry soy yogurt. It was all pretty delicious and I felt very satisfied afterwards 😀!

For lunch I had 4 rice cakes topped with hummus, spinach and rocket. They are really quick and easy to make, while ofcourse being delicious. I had lunch quite late, around 3pm! In Spain they tend to eat everything later which means lots of lie ins! With my lunch I also had a peach which I bought from the market a few hours earlier.

I did exclude water in this post as I didn't class it as 'what I ate' as such. But I usually drink a minimum of 2 litres per day. Usually I drink more but it all depends on the layout of the day.
For dinner we had fajitas!! While the rest of my family had chicken on theirs, I opted for red beans and pan 'fried' peppers in mine fajitas. This was an amazing meal which I devoured quickly :). I also served a salad with the fajitas which went down a treat. In Spain we alternate between staying in or going out, this night we happened to stay in and cook our own meal.

After dinner I had a few squares of my 100% dark chocolate, my absolute favourite!

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you a few ideas as I loved writing it!

Wimbledon!

Bryan twins on the left.
Henman Hill + a tiny bit of the big screen.
*drool* strawberries and cream
Last Wednesday myself and a few of my friends decided to take a trip down to Wimbledon. Many trains and tubes later we arrived in the scorching heat- it was the hottest day of the year by far. However we stormed on and found our court, we booked tickets for court 2, it was such fun as we were able to watch the Bryan twins play! Over our courts claps and cheers we heard a tremendous thunder from the centre court, as Andy Murray was play and consequently lost... much to our disappointment.
For part of the day we also decided to push our way through the crowds on Henman Hill and find a tiny place which was just enough for us to sit down. All around us were people of different ages (mostly drinking ngl) which is what i love about huge events like Wimbledon, it attracts everyone!
To finish off our fabulous day at Wimbledon i bought some strawberries and cream, there is no way i could go to Wimbledon without getting strawberries and cream!

Revlon Lip Butter- 096 Macaroon

I have been hiding this is my 'beauty drawer' all summer, but when September arrived (finally) this is the lipstick i was most looking forward to wearing. This is my absolutely favourite Autumn/Winter Lipstick.

I have to say the packaging of all the Revlon Lip Butters are not impressive for a £7.99 Lipstick, but they are 'alright'.

This lipstick is a deep pink/red and is brilliant with a fair skin tone as a bold red can sometimes pale you out.
I love the texture of this as it is so smooth and moisturising, i love that is does not dry out my lips. Though i have heard that it is hit and miss depending on which colour you get.
It has a gentle shimmer, nothing too bold. The wear would be around 3-4 hours, which is fine for me as i love re-applying lipstick anyway.

It gives a wonderfully glossy finish, so no need to wear lip gloss, unless you want to.
I just love it!

What is your perfect winter lipstick?

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer Phenomenon 100

The Rimmel Apocalips Lips Lacquer has been reviewed by bloggers and talked about so much so i thought i would get it, also as i have mentioned i have had a bit of a lip gloss/stick/stain/lacquer urge.
It is £6.49 at Boots -link-.
The  packaging of this product is beautiful, it has to be one of my favourite all time packaging! I like how you can see the colour at the bottom, just overall pretty.
It has a doe foot applicator, like most lip glosses, which is bendy and glides on the lips nicely.

One thing i hate about the product is the taste and the smell when you first apply it, it is awful! After a while it goes but not very nice to begin with!

On the plus side it is very pigmented and is not sticky! You would need to re-apply during the day for that glossy look.
Overall a great product apart from the taste/smell!
What do you think of the Rimmel Apocalips Lips?
