Mac Select Cover Up Concealer

Mac is a much coveted brand by me, I only have 1 other product a Cremesheen Lipstick from Mac. For a long time, Concealers for under my eyes have been a pain in the backside for me, so i thought i would bite the bullet and pay a higher price. This was around £14, so a high end product.

I use a minimal amount of product under my eyes, and when i say minimal i literally mean teenie. A little goes a long way with this concealer which fabulous.
It doesn't look cakey on and literally says on in every weather because of the silicone on it, so when its on - its on.
Basically when this runs out, i don't know how i will live without it... so definitely a repurchase for me!

Benefit Boi ing Concealer

Recently i have been having lots of late nights; studying, writing essays and possibly partying. Due to all of these i have had even worse under eye circles than i usually would have! I do have very stained under eye's already, a dark blue colour (not attractive) and the amount of concealer i used trying to hide these buggers is unreal.

I think i have found a really good gem here, it is the Benefit Boi ing Concealer and it is £17.50, so quite a expensive concealer. At such a price, i didn't want a rubbishy concealer as you might be able to understand.
I hadn't needed to worry about it being rubbish, it is absolutely great! I got it in its lightest shade 1, and this seems to be very light reflective and all that funky stuff (yes.. i did actually say funky).
It has a very creamy consistency, which feels like it moisturises my skin as-well and doesn't cling to those annoying occasional dry patches.

It has a lovely flawless finish and i would be completely happy wearing this on its own, without another concealer on the top! It seems to last most of the day, when i am playing sport or in the gym it seems to wear off (probably due to the sweat) however it doesn't go completely.
I set it with powder which does make it last longer.
This definitely has a permanent place in my everyday make up drawer now! Have you ever tried this concealer? What did you think?

Seventeen Phwoar Paint

Sorry my regular Wednesday post was not up this week, i was overwhelmed with work i had to get done. However i promise to post at least 2 posts a week.

In the 'beauty blogger world' this has been reviewed by a couple of bloggers, but not too many as it is still fairly new. It retails at £5.49 from Boots.
My under-eye's are very dark and have been on the hunt for a good concealer to cover them up without a problem. This concealer feels very thick and smooth to the touch. However when i apply it to my eyes without moisturising it clings to the dry patches and looks absolutely awful.
After applying moisturiser it did seem to work a great deal better, nonetheless it creased under my eye after a full day wear. It does last a full day with some creasing here and there.
The shade range of this product is 'ok', there are only 3 shades at the moment- fair, medium  and dark. Medium seemed way too dark for me so i purchased fair-- which is a little to light for me. I would definitely like a better shade range on this product.
I will continue to use this product as it is overall very good, i am still unsure whether i would repurchase it or not yet.

Vivo Haul!

So its September, one of my favourite months, it means going back to school/work (not so good) and the leaves fall off the trees. So i thought why not start September on a happy note- a Vivo Haul!
I am very excited to try all these products (expect a whole bunch of Vivo reviews).
All this (excluding the 1 item not from Vivo) cost me £11 in the 50% off sale, so it usually is £22.
If you want to visit Vivo's website click here!
This Trio eye-shadow palette is called Bronze Me Up, and it has a beautiful highlighter shade for your browbone, i can tell i am going to get tons of use out of this one. From what i can tell the pigment is 'ok'.
Is it retailed for £2.50.

Swatches of the colours in order are shown below.

Next i bought was a primer, can't say anything about this yet as i have not tried it.Though it is said mattifying. It is £6.00 usually.

I also this Beauty Balm in warm ivory, as my skin has been good lately so i wanted something lightweight. It is usually £5
Also i bought this Under Eye Roll on concealer, again haven't tried it yet. (£3.59)
Another item was the Gel Liner which was £3.49.
Finally from Vivo i bought this Lip Gloss which isin shade 6- Heavenly. It is quite a Deep Berry colour perfect for winter!

From Boot i ordered a Real Techinque's Expert Face brush on a whim!
I had to buy it though as its by Samantha Chapman, i mean c'mon? :)

Have you tried any of these products? Comment below!

Rimmel Hide the Blemish Concealer

Before i get into the whole review thing, i just want to say i am on holiday right now in Portugal and this week i am doing a sailing course so there will not be as many posts this week only! After this week i will return to normal posts!

Ok so ,As you may (or may not) have noticed i have reviewed another concealer quite recently (collection lasting perfection concealer), but i have also been testing this Rimmel Hide the blemish Concealer.

This concealer is priced at £4.49 from Boots, the cheapest you can get it is £1.99!

This concealer is very creamy, and when i say creamy believe me it is creamy!
I tested this under my eyes and i did not feel like it set properly. Even after a couple of hours it still did not feel completely dry! It creased under my eyes as well (this was without primer for a fair test), which is not a very good look
Also it did wear throughout the day so it not full day coverage, i would recommend reapplying this at least 2 times a day.

It applies like a lipstick, which means you have to build the coverage up quite alot.

Overall this is an 'ok' concealer, i personally would not recommend this!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

This has to be one of my all time favourite concealers and it has been raved about a lot in the beauty world!
You can purchase this from Boots here for £4.19.

This Concealer is liquid which i prefer for under my eyes, as it is not as dehydrating (i think so anyway :/).
Another point is that it does not make my blemishes/spots worse the day after i take it off.

When i have dark under eye circles (which are often) it really does conceal them and does not wear off, so makes me look like i have slept for 12 hours for 12 hours
!
Though I have found when i apply it under my eyes, after a long day it does tend to crease! You can apply a primer and this problem will go away.

It applies with a soft tip brush type thing, it is easy to apply (great for people in a rush).

Tip: After you have applied it DON'T rub as this smears it to other parts of your face, not the part you actually want to conceal. The best way which i have found is to dab lightly and it works a treat!
