September Favourites!

The month of Halloween is upon us, time to pull out your scary masks and candy! Though through September i have been using a lot of products (collecting for an empties post) and these are my select favourites. This month has been really getting myself back into a work and skin routine, which i have mainly kept to this whole month, pretty pleased if i say so myself.
The first is the Vivo bronze me up palette is definitely a favourite this month as i have been using it quite a bit. Especially the high lighter colour on the left. I would like maybe to get a couple more palettes from this range as the pigment is very good as far as i have tried.
This Clean&Clear daily scrub has been a skin saviour this month for me, as i have had literally nearly zero breakouts! I use this everyday in the shower also with a face wash. The things that i like about this is that it is oil free and it has soft bits in - not too harsh on the skin.
The real techniques expert face brush is just amazing! I can imagine this being in every favourites for years, as it blends the foundation out perfectly so you have a flawless finish.
Another skin item i have been loving this month is the Witch Blemish stick, which i have used ever since i was around 12. It is designed for oily skin, but  meant to be gentle on the skin. This has been amazing for me whenever i have breakouts.
Finally but not surprising is my Revlon Lip Butter in Macaroon which is just a phenomenal lip colour for Autumn/Winter so you might be seeing more of this! Full review and better pictures here.

Those are all my September favourites! What are yours?

Vivo Gel Liner- Black Swan

I know i have posted oodles of Vivo posts... but this will be my last for a while, i promise.

This is the Vivo Gel liner in Black Swan and it is £3.49, you can buy it from Vivo-link- or you can now buy it from Tesco!

This is the second gel eye-liner i have tried it my lifetime, as generally i have been a bit scared of them. Where as this one is very easy to use, it come with a soft yet firm brush at the top of the applicator, and a little pot with the product in. I apply it using a small angled brush as i just find it easier to apply.
When you put your brush in, it feels very dry - not gel like at all. I had a bit of trouble with the brush that came with it, as i felt like it took the eye-liner in clumps, you might want to keep that in mind when buying it.

I applied it on my hand to see what it looks like, as sadly i am rubbish at taking eye photos. It looks quite dry, you can build up the pigment to get the bold look it you want.
With this product i would not touch your eyes as it wears off easily!
Overall this is an OK product, nothing i would reccomend highly.

Vivo Laquer Shine Heavenly

 Another perfect Autumn/Winter lip colour!

This Lip Gloss is from Vivo and in the shade 'Heavenly' and i adore it. It retails for £1.99.

It is not super sticky, but just as a normal lip gloss does, it will stick to your hair.
The consistency feels thick and really smooth on the lips. The colour lasts for around 2-3 hours without messing with it, so it is definitely product which needs to be re-applied.
It has a nice applicator, which makes it very easy for you get to your lip corners.
Also the packaging is very sleek, but it does make it look cheap.
In a nutshell it is a wonderful product for £1.99!

Tip: If you pair this with Revlon Lip Butter in Macaroon it is amazing!

Vivo Beauty Balm

This product for me is a 'not much make up' day. It is from Vivo~link~ and retails for £5, Vivo is also available at Tesco now.

First of all is that i like the packaging, its plain and simple-nothing too fancy, which i am a fan of.
The whole idea of this product is that it gives you a light coverage, while evening your skin out.

I wear this on a weekend when i am taking a walk or something when i cant be bothered, as it is nice.
I think it does make my skin a little less red, and gives me a light glow.
Though if you have oily skin- like myself- prepare to get your powder out, as it gives a dewy finish but it areas where i am oily it doesn't cover it. It leaves a slightly sticky feeling, but don't worry as it is sorted out with powder.
I would have to add some concealer to under my eyes and blemishes as it is not a super strength concealer.
I would say is you have dry skin, this is perfect for you or if you don't have blemishes but your skin is a bit red!
Overall i like this product for light coverage but wouldn't use it everyday, as it is not enough for me!

Vivo under eye concealer

Winter/Autumn has finally started as it is raining today,  the perfect weather to match this post.
I bought this Under Eye Concealer from Vivo website (they now sell at Tesco) for half price, it usually retails at £3.49.
Firstly the roller ball is so hard to use, it barely even comes out even after an long period of time.
Secondly it does not in anyway brighten up my under eye area, as the moment you touch it , it will rub off (even with setting powder).
I just have no more words for this product, it was awful.

This is the product after about 30 seconds of rolling it on my hand.

Sorry for a rather depressing post, Vivo as a brand is not bad actually most of their product are very good, i have good reviews coming up soon!

Vivo Haul!

So its September, one of my favourite months, it means going back to school/work (not so good) and the leaves fall off the trees. So i thought why not start September on a happy note- a Vivo Haul!
I am very excited to try all these products (expect a whole bunch of Vivo reviews).
All this (excluding the 1 item not from Vivo) cost me £11 in the 50% off sale, so it usually is £22.
If you want to visit Vivo's website click here!
This Trio eye-shadow palette is called Bronze Me Up, and it has a beautiful highlighter shade for your browbone, i can tell i am going to get tons of use out of this one. From what i can tell the pigment is 'ok'.
Is it retailed for £2.50.

Swatches of the colours in order are shown below.

Next i bought was a primer, can't say anything about this yet as i have not tried it.Though it is said mattifying. It is £6.00 usually.

I also this Beauty Balm in warm ivory, as my skin has been good lately so i wanted something lightweight. It is usually £5
Also i bought this Under Eye Roll on concealer, again haven't tried it yet. (£3.59)
Another item was the Gel Liner which was £3.49.
Finally from Vivo i bought this Lip Gloss which isin shade 6- Heavenly. It is quite a Deep Berry colour perfect for winter!

From Boot i ordered a Real Techinque's Expert Face brush on a whim!
I had to buy it though as its by Samantha Chapman, i mean c'mon? :)
