Miss Sporty Nail Galore!

Bright nail colours are all the rage this summer, but i have seen a lot of blues and sparkle on people's nails. After some experimenting i found that Miss Sporty Nail varnishes are absolutely amazing for the great price of £1.99!
I am not really a nail person but this summer i have been trying out all sorts, and found that Miss Sporty is a great nail polish brand.
The three colours that i love are 'Blue Bath', 'Pop Fiction' and a 'Glitter'.

The brushes are not thin a flimsy they are generally quite wide brushes with is great as i hate fiddling for ages trying to paint my nails. Also the colour shows up really well , so if you were in a hurry you could do one layer!
Personally i cannot justify myself spending more than £5 on a nail polish as i just cannot afford to buy lots of them.
I think if you are on a budget and you need a new nail polish please check out Miss Sporty before going to somewhere like Essie as there are fabulous dupes out there, not just Miss Sporty!

Soap&Glory SuperCat Eyeliner Review!

Doesn't everyone want to find that perfect eyeliner? One that is easy to apply while making you look fabulous? Well i think i found it?!
So this post is about the Soap&Glory Super cat eye-liner!
This product is £6, some of you may argue it is a bit expensive but it is worth it!

First of all, it is like a marker pen so great for you first timers to liquid eye Liners!
Also it applies nice and easily and lasts all day, i did the 'full day' test today as i went cycling and all sorts of fun activities and it stayed on with a bit of 'wear and tear round the edges'.
Correct if i am wrong but i feel as if this eyeliner has not been talked about much with the beauty community, which i hope will change because it really is a fabulous product.
I have never really tried Soap&Glory as a make up brand, but do want to try a few more products of that line.
Over all i give this 5* out of 5!

A little Topshop Haul!

Is everyone enjoying the beautiful hot weather in England (if you live here of course)?
When i was walking around London today i felt like i was going to burn to a crisp, so didn't spend too long walking round. Also i only bought 2 items, both from Topshop! I know, i surprised myself.

They were both pretty day dresses, which i have been on the look out for ages.
The first dress i bought was a light pink lacy dress, £32.

The second dress i bought was quite a plain dress i suppose, but lovely! This was £20. I have to say i do not have 'huge' boobs but if you (warning) it can make you look a bit busty!

Watch out for an eye-liner review soon!

Kate Middleton's outfits!

Doesn't everyone absolutely adore Kate Middleton?
I definitely do! I especially love her outfits. So as the Royal Baby is on its way i thought i would look back and pick out some of my favourite outfits of Kate Middleton's.

This has to be one of my top favourite outfits, when she wore this beautiful dress from Topshop, it was a symbol that she did not have to spend thousands of pounds to look good.
Due to just looking at it, she has made slight alterations to fit her perfectly but it is the meaning that is the main thing.

'The Perfect Coat', i am sure many of has dream of buying the perfect coat.... well i certainly have?! I love this coat because it is simple, it would go with any outfit. It is a classic coat!

This is one of Kate's 'pregnancy dresses', i mean it is so pretty i would wear it and i am not pregnant! How she has paired the white&Black polka dot dress with a smart black blazer makes it a very formal look. Of course it comes together with the plain black clutch and the classic and simple shoes.
All of her evening outfits are amazing and to die for!So these 4 are my favourite. They are all Elegant and simple dresses, not too fancy!
I had to add this on, i mean this is probably her most famous dress  of all time, and it's BEAUTIFUL!

So those are my favourite outfit's of Kate for you, hope you enjoyed it!

MUA Eye shadow Palette- Heaven & Earth: First Impressions

I am definitely a neutral eye-shadow girl and do not really like bold colours, also do not like to spend a lot of money. So when i saw this eye-shadow palette from MUA that looks very similar to the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette i was ecstatic!

MUA (Make Up Academy) is only available in Superdrug and the MUA website, this eye-shadow was £4.

The pigment in the eye-shadows are 'ok' not fabulous but you can build if necessary, the darker colours are more pigmented and between the lighter colours there is not much difference. You have to remember thous there are 12 colours for £4 so it wouldn't be amazing.
Some of the darker shades have a nice glittery which is lovely and totally affordable for a budget.

Overall i give this a 4* out of 5, as it good and affordable!

Batiste Dry Shampoo- My Saviour?

This summer I have really wanted to take care of my hair, as i used to wash it every day and it became dry and other horrible things. So since about 2 weeks ago i have been washing my hair every other day and i have seen a huge difference with my hair, but sometimes my hair get a little greasy at the roots so i have started to used Batiste Dry Shampoo.
I got the original- clean&classic version and it does a great job.

Good things -
If used correctly it instantly freshens up your hair when it is a bit dirty.
After use you cannot see or smell it on your hair.
It actually kind of works as a hairspray and adds volume to your style.
Bad things-
There is only one bad thing about this product and it is that you have to really vigorously shake the bottle before use other it leaves this horrible white residue on you hair which is really not a very good look.

Overall i have to say this is an amazing product and i really recommend it!

Book Reviews: Sister Assassin & Crush!

As its Summer i go a bit crazy when it comes to reading and this year i wish to take part in the BookTube Readthon (comment if you want a post on the readathon) so i thought i would get warmed up by reading a lot before hand!

My first book review is going to be on a book called: Sister Assassin by Kirsten White.
This is a young adult book and it has a bit of action in it.
It is about these two Sisters- on of which is blind- who have special talents, Annie and Fia. Fia wants to look after Annie as she is blind and does not know the full extent of what the school is doing to girls. The school uses this to their advantage and makes Fia kill people etc for them, as a way of keeping her sister safe.
The different chapters in the book represent the two different sisters and also it flicks from past to present and vice versa a lot.
It is quite a short read, anyone could read it on a average of 1 to 2 days.
Overall i give this a 5*!

My second book is called: Crush by Lacey Weatherford.
I bought this book on my kindle for a very low price and again this is for young adults!
It is a story about a nerdy girl ( Cami) who falls for the bad boy in school, Hunter. They discover things about their friends and things that happened in their past that they never really understood. Again the chapters represents the two main characters Cami and Hunter and shows their side of the story.
I can't really tell you anymore without there being spoilers, so sorry!
I have to give this a 4* out of 5!

Liz Earle Sheer Tint

Today i am going to review the Liz Earle sheer tinted moisturiser!
In the summer or whenever its hot i feel like foundation is way too heavy for my skin and i want something lighter. So i opt for a tinted moisturiser with a fair amount of coverage, some lucky ladies don't have to wear anything because they have perfect skin, where as i have small spots here and there.
I have found this tinted moisturiser to be very good on my skin, it doesn't make me feel to oily as it dries and sinks in very easily! It has not caused any breakouts and really given me the summer glow which we all want (with a bit of bronzer).
Also i wanted some sun protection as well, this has SPF15 as do most, but depending how hot it is i will either reapply this or regular sunscreen.
The packaging feels expensive, as it is in one of those 40ml bottles which makes you use a minuscule amount, which is good as a little goes a long way!
The only real let down is the price- £21, if you live in England some sun is an occasion to be remembered as it doesn't stay for long. If you only use this in the summer, like myself you will really need to only buy this once a year, but if you wear this as your 'base' all year round it would be alot of money.
So i am going to give this 4* out of 5, as the let down is the price!

Skater Skirt- Worth the hype?

I have noticed over the past few months the Skater Skirt craze, obviously I wanted to know what the fuss was all about so I bought myself one(picture below).
I went for the safer colour- black and I have to say I LOVE it! It is a wintery and summery skirt- basically works with every season.
I personally have never had very many skirts but this has completely changed my view and I am definitely interested in buying many more!
For a casual look you could just pair it with a plain top and tuck it in(which i have done) or wear a crop top. To dress it up you could always wear a nice blouse with it!
Overall I have to say it is a must buy and worth the hype:).
Me wearing my own skater skirt.

Summer Days!

A couple of days ago I went to an outdoor pool with some friends, it was great fun! The pool wasn't heated so we really had to be brave when jumping in, nevertheless we took some great photos, as teenagers do :).

Clear Skin #3: Witch Blemish Stick

This is the 3rd post in my clear skin series, and I have a blemish stick for you!
This is the Witch Blemish Stick found at Boots and any other drug stores.
This works wonders on oily combination skin especially. It reminds me a bit of a glue stick in the way it applies, you push this 'waxy' stick out and rub it on the break out area.
This is probably one of the few products which I repurchase often, as a side note it does not run out quickly either which makes it worth the money.
I cannot remember the price of this item off the top of my head but I assure you it is not that expensive or I would not have bought it. I am a strong believer that the cheaper, the better.
