Mac Cremesheen Lipstick - Speak Louder

Another month coming very close to its end! Lets not go over how fast it has been (though it has been fast), however my most worn lipstick this month had to be this one. It is the Mac CremeSheen Lipstick in the shade 'Speak Louder'.
I have never had a Mac lipstick before but coveted them so much! My sister knew this and bought me this for Christmas. I was over the moon with this present-as anyone would be!

The packaging is the well-known Mac 'bullet style' packaging and there is no fault here at all.
Have any of you ever smelled a Mac Lipstick? I have and even the scent is amazing, it smells almost like sweet play dough? Don't know how i came to that analogy but there you go.
The texture is very soft and creamy hence the 'cremesheen lipstick' and it has tons of pigment in. Some days to just tone the lipstick down i dab this on my lips and also apply a nude lipstick over the top. It is a very long lasting lipstick, which inevitably wears away when you eat, so i would recommend keeping it in your bag in case you need to re-apply.
Overall this is one of the best lipsticks i own! Have you ever owned a Mac Lipstick? What did you think?

Benefit Boi ing Concealer

Recently i have been having lots of late nights; studying, writing essays and possibly partying. Due to all of these i have had even worse under eye circles than i usually would have! I do have very stained under eye's already, a dark blue colour (not attractive) and the amount of concealer i used trying to hide these buggers is unreal.

I think i have found a really good gem here, it is the Benefit Boi ing Concealer and it is £17.50, so quite a expensive concealer. At such a price, i didn't want a rubbishy concealer as you might be able to understand.
I hadn't needed to worry about it being rubbish, it is absolutely great! I got it in its lightest shade 1, and this seems to be very light reflective and all that funky stuff (yes.. i did actually say funky).
It has a very creamy consistency, which feels like it moisturises my skin as-well and doesn't cling to those annoying occasional dry patches.

It has a lovely flawless finish and i would be completely happy wearing this on its own, without another concealer on the top! It seems to last most of the day, when i am playing sport or in the gym it seems to wear off (probably due to the sweat) however it doesn't go completely.
I set it with powder which does make it last longer.
This definitely has a permanent place in my everyday make up drawer now! Have you ever tried this concealer? What did you think?

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm

Recently all the drug store brands have released 'chubby stick'-esque products to their lines. I have had a Clinique Chubby stick and loved it to much, so i picked out one from Rimmel and it was £6.99.
It doesn't say what colour it is on the packaging, which i think is odd especially if there are multiple shades.
Not going to lie, i was surprised how good this product was for such a good price. It is very balmy and has loads of pigment in it, so you can build up a lot of colour! There is also a ton of product in this which you can reach by using the twisty cap.

Here are 2 swatches of the product. It is a deep pink/nude/red, very confusing i know! I really like the colour and feel it suits a very natural look.
So i recommend this product, it is a lot cheaper that the actual Clinique Chubby Stick. There aren't as many colours but very similar formula's i feel like.

Stila Eye-shadow 'GoLightly'

My most worn eye-shadow looks is a neutral eye-shadow, nothing too bold. This eye-shadow by Stila is a neutral brown with green undertones.  It is quite an investment at £12 but i had heard so much about Stila and am a sucker for beautiful things!
It applies really smoothly and you can easily blend it out. It lasts all day on my lids with literally no crease and it minimises the oiliness on my lids.
I must say it does look rather green here, it magnificently shows its green undertones though. I usually go for way more deep browns but this is definitely a nice change!
The colour pay off is simply amazing and it looks slightly golden in the picture below which is strange but it must be my camera!

Rimmel Proffesional Eyebrow Pencil

My first post of 2014, I wish everyone a happy New Year and hope your heads aren't feeling too bad from last night. I had a lovely night in with my friends, nothing too extravagant but it was a lot of fun. For the New Year celebration/party i really wanted to look my best so i thought the only thing that was missing in my make up stash was an Eyebrow pencil. Of-course i rushed out to get one on the way buying alot of make up which may have damged my bank...oops.
So i came across this one from Rimmel, as some of you may know Rimmel is a very trusted brand by me so i couldn't have been more pleased when they had one in my shade (001 Dark Brown). However i was estatic when i glanced at the price and it was £2.99.

Before we begin into the logistics of eyebrows and such, i just wanted to say my eyebrows have been such a problem for me. As my hair is classed as 'dirty blonde' but my eyebrows are a different story, they are verging on black? So don't be fooled these are my eyebrows.

It is a pencil and on the lid it has a little eyebrow brush which has come in useful for wrestling my eyebrows into the desired shape.

This pencil is easy gliding, without depositing too much colour. Fabulous for me as i didn't want my eyebrows to take over my face.
Even after copious amount of rubbing it held its place without a trace of smudging. It will wear away towards the end of the day though it will not vanish or melt away.

The eyebrow pencil is a good un' especially for those like me, never taken too much interest in the catipillars on my face.
