November Favourites!

Another month that has whizzed by, still cannot believe it. I know i say it every month and will probably say it for all the months to follow.
However, finally it is here the real Christmas Advent countdown, my advent calender is already awaiting my opening *I have the Cadburys Santa one if you wanted to know*. Also tomorrow i am putting up my Christmas tree, so much excitement already.
Anyway lets end this month on a high with November favourites!
1. Bio Oil 60 ml. This has been great for banishing those stretch marks from ever appearing on my body again.
2. Revlon Lip Butter- Crème Brulee £7.99. A beautiful nude for any look!
3. Proactiv oil free mosituriser £15.95. A lovely moisturiser that really keeps my face look bright even in the coldest of days.
4. Vaseline Rosy Lips Lip Balm. This has been in my life forever, although as winter tis' the season of chapped lips this has been my saviour, while adding colour in my life also.
5. Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for lips and Cheeks in Pale Pink. A delicious shade of pink for winter as i would say it is more of a darker pink.
6. Garnier Body Moisturiser Mango. This has been a staple winter product as the moisturises my legs so much that people actually notice and starting feeling my leg (weird i know). Without this i would feel very sorry for the skin on my legs.

So those are my November favourites, what are yours?

Proactiv Oil Free Moisturiser

Less than 1 month until Christmas. Are you excited or are you excited? As you can tell i am ecstatic about Christmas... I am finally getting down to buying presents, which is pretty good for me considering i am usually a last minute shopper. This year i am going skiing over Christmas, so there is absolutely no time to cram shopping in, i have to be very organised.

On the topic of Christmas and presents etc... i thought this product would fit nicely. This is a moisturiser by Pro-Activ and is £15.95. For me this is quite a pricey and luxurious moisturiser to give someone.

I have used this for the past 2 months and it is safe to say it works well! I have oily skin which can be a disadvantage when it comes to moisturiser however this is oil free. It really moisturises my face which clears up and spots that may be lingering.
Pairing this with another skin care product, or as i like to, put it into a make-up bag with other products!
This would be a lovely little Christmas present for someone, without breaking the bank.

Collection Lock 'n' Hold Lipgloss

Stumbling along in Boots I saw this lip-gloss and thought it was just super cute. I know it's not the most wintery of colours, but i just knew a lot of you will love it! Also it is pink...so how could I resist?
So this is from Collection and it is £2.99
So as i said before this packaging is really cute and feels very smooth and sleek. It has a very flexible doe foot applicator, which is soft.
So this is quite a sheer lip gloss but it will look lovely over lipstick or just on its own!
It is a bit sticky so i only wear this with my hair up, however it does last a good 5-6 hours as it claims.

Sally Hansen Nails: NOFT

In the midst of Winter I see so many dark nail polishes around, and felt a bit left out. So i scavenged through my nail polishes (most of them are pink) and found this beautiful colour from Sally Hansen.
This colour is Chocolate Haute 630, which is such a luscious name for a nail polish.
I can't remember how much i paid for this exactly but i think around £6.99.
This is a brown with quite a powerful red undertone in there. I wore this with a black leather skirt and white collared blouse and it looked lovely with it.

It glides onto your nail and the brush is mice and wide, which is great for those of us who are not amazing at painting nails (me).
To me, this is the perfect colour for winter and i will definitely be wearing a lot of this this season.

MUA eye-shadow Pearl Shade 2

This little eye-shadow caught my eye when i read RasberryKiss's review on it and i was looking for something like this to pop in the corner of my eye. So i mean i had to get it, i had no choice!
I know i have had alot of MUA posts recently but i do have some other ones coming, promise.

This is from MUA and it is £1. Shade 2- Pearl. The packaging is quite good, a bit flimsy yet it did  not break when i dropped it (accidentally).
It is a lovely shiny colour which does not fall out after a long day. It gives you an illusion of bright wide awake eyes!
As you can see here it is a lovely light colour which reflects the light.
Have you tried any of the MUA eye-shadows? Do you like them?

Yankee Candle- Christmas Eve

With all the Christmas celebrations finally coming to life, I decided to start this season off with a seasonal candle. Yankee candles have been a part of my life for quite a while, especially 'Beach Walk' for my bathroom, which smells so fresh and bathroomy. The moment i smelled this i knew this had to be a part of my life.
This is the Yankee Candle- Christmas Eve.
I cannot explain the scent other than Christmas.
It is not too pricey as the one i have below is about £3.50 and the medium sized one is £16.99.

So i thought i would share this absolutely breath-takingly delicious candle with you as i adore it.
What is your favourite Christmas/Winter candle?

MUA Bronzer Shade 2

I have yet another MUA product for you lovelies today, it is the MUA Bronzer Shade 2 - so not the lightest bronzer and it is £1.

The packaging itself is not that bad...however it does look a bit cheap and tacky. It does not break easily which is great if i am keeping it in my bag, so i have not worries of it bronzing the things in my bag.
It is quite a dark bronzer for my skin tone but a light swish over the cheeks works well for me. It makes me look less like a sheet of paper and gives me a nice glow. Although i wouldn't recommend this for contouring as it is quite a muddy colour and won't make you look right.
As you can see from the swatch below there is a lot of pigmentation in this. Perfect if your just getting into Make Up or on a tight budget.
Overall if push came to shove, i would choose my Benefit Hoola Bronzer but this is a very good bronzer in comparison.

Revlon Lip Butter- Crème Brulee

So I have bought yet another Lip product *slaps on wrist* but I think I am just too obsessed. A healthy obsession of course..
This is the Revlon Lip Butter in Crème Brulee, a beautiful nude shade. They are £7.99 from Boots.

I am not a huge fan of the packaging, however it is sturdy and won't break.

This is a shimmery transparent nude, which leaves a little sparkle on your lips. You need swish it over your lips a couple of times to get a lot of pigmentation, although i think it does look better more transparent than opaque.
It feels buttery and smooth on the lips like it claims. I have definitely fallen in love with the lip butters.
The swatch above has been applied more than the swatch below.

Overall i love this product! Would recommend it to anyone!

Rimmel Special eyes eyeliner - Black Magic

I think i will be forever in-love with my Soap&Glory SuperCat liquid eye-liner, but i cannot really use it on my water line or create that smudgy look which all of us long to perfect. So i opted for this Rimmel Special eyes eye-liner for £2.99 in Boots. So this wont make a big hole in your wallet.

The packaging is not fantastic but seems pretty durable, does it's job.
I used this on my lid for testing purposes, i have so say it applied well and felt great to begin with. However by the end of the night it had smudged where my top lid meets the upper part of my eye (when i open my eyes), i hadn't even noticed until the end of the night!
I also used it on my water line, and that stayed on brilliantly! It was still there in place by the end of the night, and i have quite watery eyes therefore most eye-liners smudge off.
From the swatch below you can see it is a deep black with a lot of pigmentation!
Overall i really like this product for my waterline only definitely not my lid.
Have you tried this product?

MUA Lipstick shade 13

November is here everyone! Now is the time i really start celebrating Christmas- Christmas songs, buying presents, decorations and all that. So i though i would start this month with a colour relevant to Christmas- Red.

This is an MUA lipstick, it is Shade 13 and it is £1.
The packaging is quite sleek, however the lipstick is sometimes hard to get out!
This is such a bold colour, actually the boldest i own. The pigment is amazing in this, especially for £1.
However it does smudge quite considerable, so i wouldn't eat too much while wearing this. As once it has smudged it is an absolute bugger (pardon the french) to get off!.
This is a swatch of the lipstick!

Overall this is an OK product, i probably would not repurchase this colour.
