Collection Eye-shadow Pencil

This post was due about a month ago, but this product was put to the back of my mind, assuming that i reviewed it. Honestly, i am so dippy sometimes you wouldn't believe. This is the Collection Eye-shadow Pencil which is £3.19 from Boots.

Firstly, I love the whole concept of this idea. The whole quick, in a rush, whack it on and go. As the packaging goes, its simple but intriguing for sure. I chose the colour Hot Chocolate, a deep brown, perfect for the natural smoky eye.

The amount of product is appalling to be honest. The top is all you get, you can't roll it up any more, this was really disappointing as the product itself is good.
This eye-shadow stick is very pigmented and has a lovely colour. Also it blends very easily for the perfect smoky eye, as i mentioned before, gosh i am totally obsessed with the smoky eye!
I might do a blog post showing you how i apply this, comment if you want me to!
As you can see from the swatch below it is very pigmented, creamy and packed with colour!

Kimono #FashionFebruary

Believe it or not, this is my last Fashion February post, I still cannot get my head round that it is nearly the end of February! Then it will be my birthday on the 3rd of March, so much to organise, I am the definition of a busy bee!
Anyway this weeks topic is Kimono's, a very interesting topic! I have to say, I do like Kimono's. If you are wearing a plain outfit, you can just throw this on and it adds elegance while still being very casual.
I have found the perfect Kimono for me, which is very wearable and not too bold or in your face.
It is from ASOS and it is a Kimono Cardigan, gosh it is very nice. Sometimes I wish i had enough money to buy the whole of ASOS.
In these final words of this final #FashionFebruary post i just want to say a humongous thank you to Ali from TheCuteLittleBeautyBlog for organising this whole month. I have thoroughly enjoyed writing these posts this month and will miss them dearly!

Collection Colour Pro Lip Lacquer

Lets just sit here and admire the packaging of colour of this product by Collection. This was £4.19 ( to be precise) and it is in the shade Prom Queen, love the shade name, very cute.

Lets get into the product itself shall we?
As this is a Lip Lacquer i was expecting it to be thick, luscious and long lasting. Well it certainly is thick, it is super thick that you need the tiniest amount to cover your lips. I warn you, if you put any more than a small blob on your lips, it may look like a make up disaster.
Also it is very sticky, your mortal enemy on a windy day.

It has a nice long doe-foot applicator which is definitely one of the pros, also it is very flexible, which means it can get into those tiny corners of your mouth.
From the swatch below you can also see the colour is beautiful and I just wish the product was not so sticky.

Have you tried this product? What do you think?

Mac Select Cover Up Concealer

Mac is a much coveted brand by me, I only have 1 other product a Cremesheen Lipstick from Mac. For a long time, Concealers for under my eyes have been a pain in the backside for me, so i thought i would bite the bullet and pay a higher price. This was around £14, so a high end product.

I use a minimal amount of product under my eyes, and when i say minimal i literally mean teenie. A little goes a long way with this concealer which fabulous.
It doesn't look cakey on and literally says on in every weather because of the silicone on it, so when its on - its on.
Basically when this runs out, i don't know how i will live without it... so definitely a repurchase for me!

Tartan #FashionFebruary

This topic in #FashionFebruary is Tartan. Immediately I knew that the item of clothing i wanted to do was a scarf. I feel like a tartan scarf add a bit of oomph to the outfit, especially as i am a big fan of wearing black and white.

I would wear a tartan scarf with a plain outfit and i love it! This is from Urban Outfitters!
What item would you chose for the tartan scheme?

Sleek Matte Me Lip-Cream - Petal

This product *composes myself* is a holy grail product. I am very very excited over this product! This is the Sleek Matte Me Lip-Cream in Petal (£4.99), as Valentines day is coming up and all i thought this would be a great lip product to wear. As it is a light pale pink, very romantic!

I was putting this on my lips, as you do, and completely feel head over heels in love with this product.
Also the packaging is very nice as well .... very sleek (Oh god i am turning into my mother).
Ok, so you need to apply a minimal amount of this product otherwise it builds up too much and doesn't have the amazing-ness. It is applied with a soft doe foot applicator, which is pretty bog standard.
It stays on for absolutely ages, if it does dry out my lips i just pop some lip balm over it and it works a trick. I am most certainly going to get a lot of use out of this.
Have you ever tried this?

Harem Pants (Hammer Pants) #FashionFebruary

The second topic of #FashionFebruary is... Harem Pants! Thanks again to Ali from TheCuteLittleBeautyBlog for organising this month! To be honest these pants are not a staple in my wardrobe and not appropriate for the English weather, i would only wear these on holiday or in the summer, as a more dressy outfit!

If i were to buy these pants i would buy these ones below from BooHoo here!

What i would pair with this is a Large clutch from ASOS which you can get from here. I feel like it goes really well with the outfit!

So what would you pair with these trousers? Or would you wear them?

Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder

My apologies to begin with, for the severe lack of posts! It has been like a drought in my corner of the Internet, apart from #FashionFebruary which has been taking up a chunk of my time. I will try to resume into my normal blogging routine once again, things have just been crazy.

Lets look past all that and focus on the product. This is the Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder in transparent which retails for £3.99 in Boots. As some of you longer followers may know i am a huge fan of the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder which has coverage as well.
This product however has no coverage whatsoever, it claims to give you a fresh clean look.

A big advantage of this is that you can chuck as much of this on your face and it will never look orange, great for those of us that are super oily. This is definitely not as good at oil control as Stay Matte, however it does brighten my look up and it does have oil control for about 4 hours.
Have you tried it? What do you think?

Numari Diagonal Colour Block Sheath Dress #FashionFebruary

A very exciting set of post are to come this month....#FashionFebruary. I will be posting one post a week on top of my other posts about a fashion item all February! Thanks to Ali from The Cute Little Beauty Blog for organising this fabulous thing!

So the first Item to set off this month is a 'Diagonal Colour Block Sheath Dress' from NUMARI a relatively new brand to me, but make lovely dresses!
Below is the dress i will be writing about this week, this is a stunning dress and a bit quirky.
Firstly I would add a chunky statement necklace, which I love doing as it adds another dimension to your outfit. The Necklace i have chosen is the Norah Gem Necklace from BooHoo as it ties in the dress beautifully and i love gold and black against each other.
For the shoes I have chosen the ASOS Punchline Platforms, i feel this brings a bit of sexiness to the outfit, while still being reserved.
No outfit is complete without a bag, as i am going to be dressing this up as a night outfit it has to be a clutch! The clutch i have chosen is the Mixie Faux Pony Skin Box Clutch bag from MissGuided. The contrast in textures of the dress and clutch makes it a perfect pair!
Following on swiftly, I am going to add a watch! It is the Marc Jacobs Henry Dinky Glitz 20MM, which will add another accent of gold, also you will never forget the time with that baby on!
Last but not least is some earrings! I have chosen Earnest Jones 9ct White Gold 1/2ct Diamond earrings. Diamonds are a girls best friend right? So it will make you feel super amazing!

So that is my whole outfit put together! Don't you just adore the dress...
What would you put with this dress?
